As this course offers full tutor support, a working knowledge of basic English and writing skills is prerequisite.

Yes, international and offshore applicants may enrol in this course in its online format. International orders may be made via PayPal or credit card.

You will be allocated an experienced online tutor who will guide you through the course, mark your assignments and generally help you with any problems you may have. Your tutors can be contacted via email.

There are no formal exams but a series of assignments and projects will need to be completed and forwarded to your tutor for grading. You'll also be required to work on your portfolio throughout the course, as this will be an excellent professional reference after graduation.

Yes, very much so! There are no federal, state or provincial laws or regulations governing an event or wedding planner in North America. Instead, selected EMWP courses are internationally accredited through awarding bodies, such as IEAA.

Although no law requires an EMWP to obtain accreditation prior to entry into the industry, earning certification is critical to those who strive for professional excellence and credibility. What will my title be after I complete the course?

You will be a certified Event and Wedding Planner, and may use the letters Dip. EMWP after your name.

 

After graduation a certification logo will be provided for use on your promotional materials and at your website.

 

Aren't laws and regulations different from country to country?

 

Yes, they are. The Diploma in Event and Wedding Planning has been adapted for both the USA and Canada.

 

How do I send in my work?

All section assignments can be emailed. However, your final project must be snail mailed to the UK for final grading. You do not need to wait for your results before moving onto the next section.

If I fail an assignment can I retake it?

Yes, your tutor will ask you to resubmit your assignment and give you some pointers as to where you could improve.

Is there a time limit or any deadlines?

We do like you to complete the course within 12 months but we can extend this if you check with your tutor. If you allow 150 study hours this will give you a good guide. There are no deadlines to meet.

Is there any Event & Wedding Planning Software available?

Yes, we will provide you with links to on-line Event & Wedding Management Tools.
