regional and geographic location
costs local traffic is willing to pay
number of potential customers owning groomable pets
variations in business overhead (home based, mobile,
house call, storefront)
groomer choice as to the number of pets and/or hours
per day or days per week

Recent statistics indicate that a home based groomer can conservatively earn anywhere from $30,000 - $75,000 per year. Not a bad return on such a small initial investment!

x fee per pet
($30 - $50 is a reasonable target, with some being less, others much more)
= gross income per day
less expenses
