Yes! Our program is 100% online and open to
students worldwide, including Malta. You can study at
your own pace with full tutor support.
Our diploma is internationally accredited (IEAA)
and recognized by students and salons around the world.
In Malta, you can use it as your professional training
foundation while also meeting any local registration
requirements.
As of 2024, all grooming salons in Malta must
register with the Animal Welfare Directorate, keep
service records, meet facility standards (including
CCTV), and ensure at least one staff member holds an
Animal First Aid certificate.

Our course covers pet safety and handling as
part of the diploma program. While it does not replace a
standalone Pet First Aid certificate, we also offer a
separate Pet First Aid & CPR certification course that
Malta students can take alongside the diploma. This
ensures you meet the government’s Animal First Aid
requirement while gaining extra confidence in handling
emergencies.
Our diploma provides internationally recognized
training. To legally operate a grooming business in
Malta, you must also register with the Animal Welfare
Directorate and ensure your salon meets their
requirements.
Yes, Malta requires at least one person in every
grooming establishment to hold an Animal First Aid
certificate. Our program prepares you with safety
knowledge, and we can guide you on how to obtain
recognized Pet First Aid certification.
Yes, our course is internationally accredited.
However, the government requires local licensing in
addition to your training before you can open or run a
grooming business.
No. The entire program is completed online. Even
the practical assignments are designed to be done from
home, using your own pets or models, with tutor feedback
provided remotely.
The course is self-paced. Most students finish
in 6 to 12 months, but you can move faster or slower
depending on your schedule.
All payments are processed in USD (U.S.
dollars). If you’re paying from Malta in euro (€), your
bank automatically converts it at the daily exchange
rate. Because the euro is usually stronger than the U.S.
dollar, you often end up paying a little less in euro, which means you actually save
money!
Yes, but with an important note: you’ll need both our
diploma and compliance with Malta’s new salon licensing
rules. This includes registering with the Animal Welfare
Directorate and ensuring Animal First Aid certification
is on file.
